RETURNS POLICY

Return Window

Most items purchased on Zumbu Africa may be returned within 7 calendar days of the confirmed delivery date. Some categories (e.g. perishables, digital goods, personalised items) are non-returnable and will be clearly marked on the product page.

Eligibility Conditions

To be eligible for a return, the item must be:

  • Unused and in the same condition as received
  • In its original packaging with all tags attached
  • Accompanied by the original receipt or proof of purchase
  • Not damaged due to misuse or negligence

How to Initiate a Return

  1. Go to My Account → Orders
  2. Select the relevant order and click "Request Return"
  3. Select the item(s) and reason for return
  4. Submit the request — you will receive instructions within 24 hours

Return Shipping

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer unless the item was received damaged, defective, or not as described. In those cases, the seller or Zumbu Africa will arrange and cover return shipping.

Refunds

Once the returned item has been inspected and approved, a refund will be processed to your original payment method within 5–10 business days. You will be notified by email when your refund has been issued.

Damaged or Defective Items

If your item arrives damaged or defective, please photograph the item and packaging and contact us within 48 hours of delivery at support@zumbu.africa. We will arrange a replacement or full refund.

Non-Returnable Items

  • Perishable goods (food, flowers, plants)
  • Digital downloads and software
  • Personalised or custom-made items
  • Intimate apparel and swimwear
  • Items marked as "Final Sale"
